Last December I made my first visits to Orust exposed bedrock, in the fame of AiC (https://aic.earth/).... to begin a body of work that will form the foundation of the project Such that they can be harmed. Here I’m asking what happens when analog photography is used as a foraging method. Attending to slow processes: frost weathering, erosion, mineral time. The kind of time that exceeds us. The photograph as a form of ecological witnessing. A refusal of the linear, accelerated time of capital, in favor of cyclical return and the latency of waiting.
